Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson was born in Paris France to British parents Jacqueline Luesby and Chris Watson Both lawyers. As a young girl of just five years old and moved to Oxfordshire and went to the Dragon School. Emma was six years old at the time she decided to make it as an actress. She trained for several years in Stagecoach Theatre Arts, a full-time school of theatre in Oxford where she was taught acting and singing. At the age of 10 Emma took part in multiple Stagecoach productions, as well as school plays. Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone (2000) was the film adaption from J.K. Rowling's bestselling novel premiered for the first for the first time on January 1, 1999. Emma was discovered by agent through their Oxford teacher. David Heyman, the producer of Harry Potter Harry Potter's Sorcerer's Stone, as well as Ron Weasley told Emma after the eight auditions that she'd been cast in these roles. The cast included Daniel Radcliffe Rupert Grint and Rupert Grint. The movie's release Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone (2001) was Emma's film debut. It set new records for beginning-day and weekend-opening sales as well as being the most-grossing feature in the year 2001. Many critics have praised the film and the performance of the three principal young actors. The well-known British publication The Daily Telegraph called her performances admirable.
