Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson comes from a musical family. As a child, she was exposed to lots of classical music and old Boleros. In addition, she was a fan of traditional ranchero and romantic ballads. Ana has a passion for tangos, opera, and all forms of dramatic performance. Ana started learning how to play the piano and sing from an early age, along with her mother. She was given more formal training in singing when she was 16 years old, under the legendary Mexican Tenor Flavio BECARRA. In Guadalajara, she attended the School of Music of University of Guadalajara as well as in Toluca at The School of Sacred Music. When she was a student, as well when she was a professional young within Mexico City and Guadalajara she performed with various chamber groups as well as choruses. After moving from Mexico to America in 2000, she performed with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. She is currently performing classic Latin American songs at private concerts as a singer. The passion and love she has for art, music, and performing has her involved in many local projects as a teacher and performer. Ana is also a past part of the Community Chorus of Redlands, the Inland Master Chorale, and the Performance Loft. Ana is grateful to the Inland Master Chorale for allowing her to perform traditional Latin American song.
